Why purchase actual prints as opposed to posters?
Photographic prints are created to maximize quality and longevity. You can expect your prints to last in excess of 50 years without any noticeable fading when kept under average indoor lighting. Posters that are created for mass production utilize lower grade materials and will normally last only a few years under the best of conditions.
